inCamera is the fastest, easiest, and most accurate way
to create custom ICC profiles for digital cameras and
scanners. Utilizing industry standard charts, inCamera
creates a custom ICC digital camera or scanner profile by
evaluating the color data captured by the camera or scanner and
comparing the data to the known color values of the charts. This
profile integrates seamlessly into any ICC color managed
workflow. For a table that summarizes the various recommended

inCamera is designed to help the photographer achieve consistent, predictable color with any digital camera or scanner. Features an online User Guide that serves as a helpful tutorial for creating and properly integrating ICC profiles into a color managed Photoshop workflow.
The Profiling Process The mechanics of creating a digital camera profile are quite simple. All you do is take a picture any of the supported charts under the specific lighting conditions of your photo shoot, open the image within Photoshop, launch inCamera from the Filters menu, align the flexible template over the chart in the image, and click Ok. inCamera automatically creates a custom ICC profile by comparing the colors captured by the camera to the known color values of the chart. Then, you simply assign the profile within Photoshop to all images shot under the same conditions. As you can see, the profile not only dramatically improves the shot visually, but transforms the each of colors of the ColorChecker Chart squares with dead-on accuracy relative to the known Lab values.
