2. Installation

iCorrect EditLab Pro is a plug-in. That means it cannot be run on your computer by itself. Instead, it must be run from within another program (called a host program) that has been specifically designed to support Adobe Photoshop Filter plug-ins. Because of the somewhat unusual characteristics of plug-in software, the installation process involves two steps:

Extracting the Plug-in files Right-click the compressed folder (a zip archive) and then click Extract All. This will uncompress (unzip) the folder that contains the plug-in files.
Copying the Plug-in File One of the plug-in files created in the above step must then be copied (or installed) into the host program.

To install for use in a 32-bit application (Photoshop CS3 and earlier, Photoshop Elements, etc.), copy the file named "iCorrectEditLabPro_6.0_32.8bf" to the Plug-ins sub folder of the host application folder. If you are installing in the 32-bit version of Photoshop CS4 or CS5, this folder is usually located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop CSx\.

To install for use in a 64-bit application (Photoshop CS4 and later), copy the file named "iCorrectEditLabPro_6.0_64.8bf" to the Plug-ins sub folder of the host application folder. This folder is usually located at C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop CSx\.

If you have installed both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Photoshop CS4 or CS5, you can install both versions of iCorrect EditLab Pro as well.

Once the plug-in has been properly installed, it may be used by launching Photoshop, opening an RGB image, and then selecting EditLab from Photoshop's Filters menu:
